Several years ago I got a couple of trekking poles and extended my field life as an archaeologist. I wanted the same convenience of using them on concrete sidewalks and asphalt trails. These rubber walking tips, curved as them are rather than flat, are exactly what I wanted. They provide some shock absorption as well. Senior citizens who have not tried using trekking poles when they take their daily walks really should try them. They just help balance and make walking easier. I can really power walk with these tips on my poles.

I have an older pole that had a flat rubber tip that came with it. This new one works much better and holds on payment as well as hard ground. I will order more just in case they change the design.

I HAD SOMEHOW LOST ONE OF THE TIP ATTACHMENTS TO ONE OF MY LEKIS. I DOUBTED THAT I COULD FIND A REPLACEMENT IN THE US AND THOUGHT THAT I'D HAVE TO WRITE TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC FOR IT. THAT WOULD TAKE A LONG TIME, TO SAY THE LEAST. I THEN THOUGHT I SHOULD TRY LOOKING FOR IT ON AMAZON, BECAUSE AMAZON DOESN'T SELL JUST BOOKS, BUT I DIDN'T THINK IT'D CARRY ALSO SUCH A SPECIALIZED ITEM. YOU CAN IMAGINE MY GREAT SURPRISE WHEN I SAW THAT IT WAS AVAILABLE, THAT IT WAS AN ORIGINAL, ALSO MADE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC. A FEW DAYS LATER, THE ITEM ARRIVED, AND I WAS BACK IN BUSINESS. TERRIFIC AND VERY EASY.

These replacement tips fit both of our poles just fine. They fit like they were made for them.

the only problem I found was that to get a good shipping price was that I had to buy a bigger amount of the item and thus only in spending a lot more do you get a deal I think this it to much needed .The product is great the honest s service is good just the shipping and handling cost stink Bob
