This polyester taffeta hammock includes an attached no-see-um mesh canopy to keep bugs away and a Funky Forest polyurethane coated tarp to keep you dry. The hammock's overhead suspension system assembles in minutes with reinforced corner grommets and 15 nylon-webbing takeoffs to provide multiple hanging configurations wherever you are. Weighing just 22 ounces, the Air-Bivy is lightweight and compact for backpacking, is easy to set up, and dries quickly. Unlike sleeping in a tent or on the ground, the Air-Bivy keeps you suspended and dry under the tarp when the weather turns foul. The tarp can also be used independently as a sun or rain shelter. The attached no-see-um mesh keeps insects away, but you can use the hammock without the mesh by simply flipping it over. The hammock hanging kit includes two 10-foot pieces of pre-knotted, 4.5-millimeter ropes for easy hanging. The tarp includes six aluminum tent stakes and a 14-foot guy line.
