Product Description Seam Sure Water Based Seam Sealer is a fast drying, water based urethane formula designed for sealing sewn seams on synthetic fabrics and breathable laminates. Seam Sure dries to a clear, flexible, long lasting film with a nearly invisible non-gloss finish. Ideal for waterproofing tents, packs, rainwear, garments, tarps and more. SEAMSURE flexes with the fabric insuring waterproofing even in cold temperatures and high wind conditions. A unique brush applicator allows the user to easily apply Seam Sure into needle holes, sewn joints, corners and under lap-felled and folded seams.

Works better than expected November 25, 2007 John Steed (Virginia) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This product lived up to its claims. I was able to seal a pop up camper's canvas completely with one bottle. Delivery was also better than expected.

Haven't used this yet, but its nice to have in your tent repair kit for peace of mind.
Great product - easy to use June 13, 2008 Amy S. (Pittsburgh, PA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Purchased this product to use on the non-taped seams of my new tent. It was very easy to use - it took just two hours to do the seams on my huge tent.
The brush applicator is helpful, but it drips everywhere and can be a little messy. I found it easiest to squeeze a small amount of the product onto a paper plate, push the top down to close it, and then to use the brush like paint brush to apply the product from the paper plate.
Love that this product is water clean up, but don't get it on your clothes because it doesn't come out.
It's worth the time to use this seam sealer - it rained for several hours overnight during our last camping trip, and we didn't have a drop of water inside our newly seam sealed tent.
It's OK, but ... May 2, 2010 K. Beasley (Wilmington, NC USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm sure it's fine as far as seam sealers go ... I mean the chemistry is probably as good as any other. I bought this one because of the built-in brush applicator. Know this: If you plan on seam sealing your tent flat on the ground, this is probably a good choice. If you plan on seam sealing your tent while its put up, (fully deployed), the brush is useless in vertical application scenarios ... in fact you will spend more time wiping-up what drips on the floor of your tent than applying this to the seams. This applicator brush will only work properly when the bottle is straight up-and-down, (vertical) ... if you turn it sideways, the sealer drips out the base of the brush. The brush is pretty coarse and does not hold the sealer in angled or horizontal positions. I was kind and gave it 3 stars.
Brush on top is over-rated May 17, 2010 Teacher La La (Meridian, ID United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this product b/c I thought the brush on top would make the job go faster. Yeah- not going to happen. I ditched the brush and used small sponge brush to seal our tent. The sealant works great, but you don't need the brush on top. Save your money and buy the cheaper product from this company.
